Africanis
The Africanis is an indigenous African landrace dog with thousands of years of natural selection on the African continent. Lean, athletic, and remarkably healthy, the Africanis adapts well to South African conditions and makes a loyal, intelligent, and resilient family companion. They are usually obtained through rescue rather than breeders.
